Originally from McKinley Park, Jim has been working at the Teen Center for almost two decades. He knows the youth and just about everything about the area and Chicago. Along with running the Teen Center, he serves as the Youth Minister for Blessed Sacrament Parish.

Davidlee is a native of Western New York and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in English and Creative Writing from Canisius College in Buffalo, NY. Davidlee enjoys running and biking as well as writing and reading. He also unwinds in his free time by playing the saxophone and listening to a wide variety of music. After his year in Chicago he hopes to earn a masters degree in either Social Work or College Student Personnel Administration and continue writing.

Mackensey CarterProgram Coordinator
Mackensey grew up in Southern California and then moved to DC to attend Georgetown University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Theology. While at Georgetown, she was a pitcher and utility player on Georgetown’s softball team and was also involved in campus ministry. Mackensey enjoys photography, baking, bike riding and spending time with her family in her free time. She hopes to stay in Chicago after this year and pursue a masters degree in Social Work.
