Hello All!
This past weekend the teen center staff took around twenty students to Dixon, IL for another ReachOut Retreat. The theme of the weekend was "He Loves Me, Yeah, Yeah, Yeah" so the activities and small group sessions were based on the ideas of God's love for us and our love for God and others. The weekend was a great success and the teen center students were able to bond with other teens from parishes all around the Chicagoland area. We were very blessed to have Father Rocco travel all the way from Boston to lead two masses and teach all of us more about God's love. The students gave talks, performed skits, decorated cupcakes, wrote love letters home, and were able to share their stories in many unique ways. The weekend provided unforgettable memories and changed lives. After a weekend of little sleep and lots of emotions, we are happy to be back to our regular teen center schedule but we will all be talking about this weekend for many months to come! Thank you to all the parents, volunteers, and staff members whose hard work and planning made the weekend go so smoothly. Here are some pictures from this amazing weekend:
