Easter Lock-In

Since this past week was Holy Week, the Teen Center revived an annual tradition for Holy Thursday: church-hopping and a lock-in.  Starting with mass at Sts. Peter and Paul at 7:00, the Teen Center Staff then took the teens to around ten different parishes for adoration.  From 8:00 until midnight, we traveled the city making short stops at many different churches in order to pray for a list of people we had made at the beginning of the night.  After returning to the Teen Center around 12:15, the lock-in began. The lock-in included making homemade pizza, playing different sports, impromptu jam sessions with a guitar, trombone, and saxaphone, and watching movies.  We closed the Teen Center, after a sleepless night, around 6:30 am.  It was a very reflective and fun night for the staff and teens!

Along with the Lock-in, during regular Teen Center hours we decorated Easter eggs!

Happy Easter and Spring everyone from the Blessed Sacrament Teen Center!
